Founded by Séni Idbelkas in 1994, Reggae Remedy was first of all a french reggae fanzine, exclusively distributed in the few places where this underground movement was promoted, around Paris region.

He then hosted a weekly radio show of the same name on 106.3FM, for over 25 years.
During the 90s, he becomes an essential militant figure of the sound-system culture in France and in the United Kingdom.

In 2000, with the support of Mike Brooks, veteran jamaican singer, Reggae Remedy evolve into a label, and collaborate with Nicolas Sélambin from 129H STUDIO for the production of its music.
Over the years, the catalog grows with french-speaking and international artists of all generations. The label is surrounded by talented musicians who participate in developing a particular sound identity, which today still forces the recognition of its peers.

Reggae Remedy releases rebel music with a cause, carried by conscious messages, spreading Rastafari culture in the pure tradition of jamaican roots reggae.
